Jetglo, because I think black looks better with chrome. Fireglo used to be a good one to get so you could wait for it to turn more amber, but with the new UV finish, I think it'd be a long wait. But I suppose it just depends on what you like. Personally, I'm a Jetglo guy, firstly.

My first actual bass teacher (Casey Starnes) played a Jetglo 4001 at the time.

I also own a 1992 Jetglo 4003, it's an outstanding example of a great Ric, (and looks swell with a tuxedo).

To me, Ric = Fireglow... just an image I have in my head. Black is cool, but kinda...boring?

Either way, can't go wrong, as long as you like the bass!
