Lane splitting is legal in California. Sometimes when driving through traffic you get the occasional a-hole that will try and inch over to not let you through. I don't think they realize that they are legally responsible if they pull that and end up hitting you.

San Diego drivers....

I watched a couple nimrods on crotch-rockets splitting lanes at 95 - 100 mph today on I-805. I called 911 to let the CHP know they were coming up the 5.

I think that it just that people are tired of Tom Cruise. It becoming hard to watch him when we know what a nutcase he is.

Personally, no matter how entertaining his movies are, I can't get past that when I watch him and it ruins it for me.

Eh it shouldn't matter. Besides, he's a celeb. They all eventually go off the deep end. Jim Carrey, Dave Chapelle, Lewis Black (granted, it's his job, but still), honey boo boo, Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Gary Busey, all of 'em. If you aren't crazy, you aren't getting famous. If you aren't famous, you'll go crazy.

So who cares what the animal in the zoo exhibit does while everyone's staring at it? It's all encouraged, indirectly.

Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks, among many others, have had no problem bucking this trend. They've mastered the art of being famous due solely to their talent - hard to believe in this day and age, isn't it?

And just how many films have you seen in the last 5 years featuring Tom Hanks or Denzel? Not many. As far as I'm concerned they're approaching the ranks of Harrison Ford and Bill Murray: classic, but out of the game.

I haven't seen a whole lot of films featuring Mel Gibson or Gary Busey lately, either. I simply don't believe that going nuts is inevitable, even in today's celebrity world.

No, Gibson's been busy looking like a misogynist/warmonger for the last few years, and Busey has been mentally deteriorating showing himself on Trump's Apprentice series, testing the mental durability of other contestants with whacky ideas with no filter. Yup, all in line, they are.

Just because you havent been following these actors does not mean they arent currently relevent or havent been working.

Denzel has done a lot of good work since Training Day, which was released in 2001. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denzel_Washington_filmography
He has a lot of award nominations in 2012 for his role in Flight.

Tom Hanks was in Cloud Atlas last year, has 2 films in post being released this year and will start filming on Inferno soon.

Murray was in Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom last year, and has been in at least one movie a year. He was in 3 in 2009, Jarmusch's Limits of Control, Zombieland, and Anderson's The Fantastic Mr Fox.

Gibson hasnt been in too much, but The Beaver came out in 2011, and he's currently working on a movie about the Maccabees.

Harrison Ford hasnt been too busy, though he had 2 movies released in 2008, 2 in 2010, filmed another in 2012 and has confirmed that he'll be reprising Han Solo this year.

Cool I guess. I don't know how all these guys go under the radar with me lol.

New vent...I wish I could complete all the stuff I'm doing to start working on music again.
