I hate that I'm not better at pissin and moaning and I hate that too much beer and ice cream is bad for you.
Sounds like John Williams heard this and then used it in the "Jaws" soundtrack.
Anywho, I need to vent that my apartment is too small to practice my acoustic guitar. Guess I just need to work more so I can afford more space.
Yes, I know this thread has sat around unloved for over a year which is incredible considering the vast amount of things out there to kavitch about. C'mon guys take it up a level!
I do to. I just don't leave home a lot. I'm talking to my counselor about getting a prescription for cannabis so I can be more relaxed & outgoing.
I probably should get out more, but when I do I get pissed off at how f'in stupid people are & how inconsiderate they are.

The rapper Stiches makes the absolute stupidest music I've ever heard. IMO everything about him, his music and the coke dealer lifestyle he represents are a pinnacle of stupidity. It boggles my mind that anyone could be so proud to be such a buffoon. He's like a character right out of the movie Idiocracy. I'd post his video about Molly Cyrus here, but it would get deleted by the mods.

My missus is a cardiac theatre nurse. For what it's worth, bypass surgery are considered pretty simple surgeries, by cardiac standards. They're short and straight-forward for the most part, and have a very high success/survival rate. I look forward to seeing you posting in here on Saturday
My current source of irritation: I unfriended someone on facebook because they're a bigot. I sent them a courtesy text telling them why, and explained that the unfriending was IRL too, not just a facebook thing. Their reply was words to the effect of "Your friendship is obviously conditional, so you're not a true friend, have a nice life". Yeh, it's conditional. I draw the line at bigots. I know I did the right thing by kicking this person out of my life, but the whole thing's left a real sour taste in my mouth and I'm angry about it.

2 weeks post op today. It wound up being quad bypass. Still in a lot of pain(not taking pain meds), but I did manage to crack off a 30 minute treadmill session today. The road back has begun
I have something to prove at work. I'm giving myself 2 years to improve in other aspects of life and gtfo from that place.
I live clear across the continent from this stuff, but it still bugs me.
I heard a blurb on the radio about possibly taxing the painted women who hang out in Times Square and pose for photos with tourists. It's always bothered me that they are even allowed. I'm as liberal as they come, but this goes against my sensibilities completely.
People bring their kids to Times Square and it's bad enough that they are confused by seeing six Elmos, that they are also either horrified (or oogling, Nat'l Geo style) by having some tramp's painted cans swinging next to their innocent little grill while dad snaps a pic? it's legal, live porn. Plain and simple.
It's on the dang sidewalk. It wasn't that long ago that if you wanted that brand of entertainment, you had to produce ID to go behind closed doors to see that. Or go to Sturgis, or Vegas, etc. NOT on a sidewalk in what is arguably the most famous city in the world where families frequent.
Either that or drop all the false family values crud completely and do away with age limits at TT bars.
