About this USA Peavey problem...

They're slowly taking over! Worse yet, I'm still looking for a bargain deal on a T-40 :rollno:

It's hard to make out, but the one furthest to the left is a slant Super Ferrite Fury.

Just got the last of my parts for a Super Ferrite Foundation, as well as a neck for my Fury.
Pumped. I've let a few get away.
To me they have a minimalist, utilitarian appeal, comfy and well made.

I have the twin of the white bass in guitar form. 1983 Peavey Patriot Plus. Please excuse hideous pickguard on the p bass lol. It's been replaced.

I got a black Peavey Fury and put an
Original Fender 62 pup in it.

I thought Peaveys were a lower quality.
So I tried to find a P bass that sounded
better.

I failed,,,,

These are some along with my black Fury,

money than I got to find a better sounding
P bass.

I have 2 MIA Peaveys, with one on its way.

Foundation 5
Dyna Unity Series, w/ all Koa body.

Have a T-40 on its way as I'm posting this.

Also have a MIC Peavey BXP Grind, which is actually a helluva bass for the price... ~200 used.

Nice. I'd like to see a picture of the Koa Dyna.
I just bought a Grind 5 off a TB'er, but UPS mangled it.

I'm still looking for a nice Peavey 5'er.
I love all my US Peavey stuff.

Will post pics of the Koa Dyna in a few hours when I get home. She's one of my favorites. She's been through hell and back (and she shows it), but plays like no other. Hands down the most comfortable bass neck I've ever played on.

Used to have a Koa Unity, loved that bass. While I had it, I got a Sunburst T-40. Loved the tones I could get out of the 40, but could not handle the weight. Ebayed both basses and got a Maple 5 string USA Cirrus. Love the new bass, but still have an obsession with acquiring a Patriot and USA Fury. I have found an Ash Fury with a SF for $75, but the neck is shot. I love Peavey

WOW, and I thought I had it bad! :ninja:

I can't begin to tell you how many Rickenbacker's I've sold off since my first USA Peavey. INCLUDING my 1971 4001.

I still love my RICS, but my USA Peavey basses are my goto basses. As the Peavey collection increased, the RIC collection decreased. I had 18 RICS, now I have 5.

I still would like to add a Sarzo & a Fury, then I'm done. :help:
Oh, I almost forgot, a "G" bass too. :bassist: ;)
