Aguilar Tone Hammer 350

Ian, you will really dig it and won't look back. I have to admit I really liked the TC's built-in compressor but the TH350 just sounds better to me. As described in previous posts, it is responsive yet has a pretty warm tone at the same time.

I'm glad I sold my TC and got the TH350. It fits in the pocket of my gigbag, sounds great, and has simply just what I need in a small amp. They did a great job with this one. I appreciate Dave's output ratings and testing as well !

Can you compare the TH350 and the Reidmar? Sound and headroom? I've heard that the Reidmar sounds a lot like HD350, very Hifi.

I once compared the AG500SC and the HD350. They vere both nice heads. HD350 has a very nice and bright treble that Aguilar doesn't quite get.

I put my 350 on top of an Aggie DB 8x10 For my Easter church services and it was killin!

I've said it before- I have the Aguilar "S" series 4x10 and 2x10 both in 4 ohm. The 350 is killer with the 2x10... But when I stack those cabs, the 751 comes out and just slays!

I recently did a club date with the 350 and my Aggie S 2x10 4 ohm. I was worried if it would be loud enough, but it was actually a little overkill. If I was to rename the heads to represent how the power feels, the 350 would be the 500 and the 500 would be 750. These heads are the warmest class D heads I've tried. Love them!

Hi Chiefbass,

The fan is operated by a heat sensor, and the fan speed will adjust according to the temperature.
It is quite normal that even after you stop playing the temperature might be above the sensor's threshold. In that case, the fans would continue to run. They will stop when the heat drops below the sensor's threshold.

Thanks Dave!

I came home about an hour ago, put the TH350 on, and didn't play a single note through it. The fan started in 10 minutes and apparently it doesn't turn off automatically. Fortunately it is very quiet and doesn't bother me at all.

Are the amount of heat the same with and without playing, with the same level of volume and gain??

Hey- while we're asking Dave B questions....
Is it safe to run theTH350 & 500 with no speakers attached? I play gigs with no amp on stage and just need a DI to the board.
