Didn't notice the thumb test until seeing this pic. The more I see pics, the more I love this bass's looks.

Re: price. Per a a conversation with Bruce at Wildwood, MSRP will be around $3300 and he expected Wildwood to have them for around $2500-2600.

The trussrod and bridge redesign are actually a very welcome change. I am guessing that Al Bas tech must be over the moon, as Ricks are finicky in this area. And as for green inlays I actually love it. I would ditch the pickups covers though.

To me it doesn't seem like they care to alter/update design on the 4003 at all, even if it appeals to a good portion of their customers.

My guess is they would need to work through their stock of the old faithful tailpiece before using the Al Cisneros one on the bread and butter models.

Ric is including treble bezels so you can remove them
