I think you can get those at the rickenbacker boutique or pick of the ricks
Last night Al again played just this bass and the five-string.
Rick wants $23 to ship four knobs...they are crazy.
in more ways than one.
So, we now know that the bass model name is 4003AC and that production is limited to 420. The first three are shipping tonight. Still no clues on pricing.
Here's the latest picture from Rickenbacker Guitars (Official):
Didn’t notice the thumb test until seeing this pic. The more I see pics, the more I love this bass’s looks.
Re: price. Per a a conversation with Bruce at Wildwood, MSRP will be around $3300 and he expected Wildwood to have them for around $2500-2600.
Great info, thanks!!!
The trussrod and bridge redesign are actually a very welcome change. I am guessing that Al Bas tech must be over the moon, as Ricks are finicky in this area. And as for green inlays I actually love it. I would ditch the pickups covers though.
The pickup covers severely limit the choices of areas to play.
Great looking bass though!
Me too. Nice one!
Nathan King didn't call them Play Inhibitors for nothing...
Does anyone know if Rickenbacker will be using this new bridge from now on or is it just for this signature model?
Nobody seems to know, not a word out of Ric.
My guess is they would need to work through their stock of the old faithful tailpiece before using the Al Cisneros one on the bread and butter models.
I mean judging by their website and their FB, Socia Media and Communication is not their forte. They're not Kiesel that's for sure lol
This is one of those "Oh they sell those now ? "
Seriously please bring back the 4002!!!!
Check out this sexy goddess!!!!
Two covers to pull off and give away or lose.
Ric is including treble bezels so you can remove them
