IMO if it's a quality pedal true bypass is overrated. I don't believe any of the Tech21 stuff is true bypass.

Ya, the buffer is good thing if you ask me, but honestly, I'm using it with a wireless most of the time and my output's always buffered with one of them, so it doesn't matter either way to me.

Me too. My BDDI is on the block so I can order one of these. Seems like it will be a good practice tool as well. Now I just need to rehash my board since I have a few pedals creating real estate after removing a couple.

You know, I should have known the line out was buffered since it's an active DI...silly me!

Anyway, yes, the more I use it, the more I dig it, and I really think you all will, too. It's become my "If you can only bring one pedal" pedal. Enjoyed that demo that jacoby posted, but wish he'd have gotten some more mid forward and darker sounds out of it, too. But Dino's vids should be out soon and hopefully he'll do some.

Yeah, that video I found was definitely lacking. But at least it's SOMETHING. : ) I was just glad to finally be able to actually hear the darn thing. But it's clearly a limited demo, and the sounds he got are relatively useless for my situation. All the same, it was enough to tell me I need to get one. I'm looking forward to some more in depth reviews.

If they're smart they will. But "programmable" and "Ampeg" don't really go hand in hand. Maybe a dual-channel version?
