I got to see the last bit of it last night. It still strikes me how those boys had so much presence and charisma. I couldn’t keep my eyes off of them. What a great movie!.

Bad news!
The Let It Be movie, Get Back, has been delayed by one year. Now they are talking August 2021. The covid market isn’t there to make a lot of money. All you need is cash, cash is all they need, cash is all they need.

About 8 or so years ago I remember seeing a book about McCartney at my local music store. It was called "Something In The Way He Plays." I should have bought it but didn't and to this day I've never seen another copy in the stores of it.
I've had the DVD for a few years now. Fun to watch on occasion.
George: "And who's this Susan when she's at home?" Cracks me up every time!
I also have the Ed Sullivan DVD's with the 4 Beatles performances. For those who don't know, it's like a trip back in time especially if you're old enough to remember because it's exactly how the shows were aired, commercials and all. When I first viewed all 4 discs I was very surprised at how much I remembered not only of the Beatles but with some of the other acts and the commercials. It's amazing what's still stored in our memory. Things you thought were long gone, you see it after 50 years and all you can say is "OMG, I remember seeing that!!!"
It's been out for several years now, but I finally got to see Ron Howard's documentary "Eight Days A Week." As far as I know, it's only available on Hulu, but now I'm on it. This is one of the best documentaries about the Beatles I've seen. I knew it would probably be good, but this was better than I had expected. It has some footage which hadn't been seen before, etc. Very nice for any Beatles fan.

It is also available for rent or purchase from Amazon. I rented it on Amazon Prime. It is very good.
First one for me was I Want To Hold Your Hand. I was eight years old and my uncle bought the 45 and that’s when I first heard it. I was the right age for it to really make an impression on me. I was hooked on them from then on.

Possibly the oldest song on the radio I have specific memory of.
The rest is history. Article discussing Jerry Garcia's opinion of the Beatles. Also, a brief discussion of his comparison between the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
