True, but is it an input or an output, or just maybe both? And guess which gender is also on the breakout box...
I had an original OP-1 and accessories. I bought it used, messed around with it, and eventually sold it. Super well built and great battery life. I never made anything I liked with it, though. The “tape” mode was pretty fun. So were the graphics. I am perhaps rare in that it did not inspire strong feelings in me one way or the other.

Check the Elektronauts thread on the Polyend Play. So many folks repeatedly posting why they’d never buy that machine. Not sure why someone would waste so much time, but they sure do.
There’s a huge thread over there already on the TE OP-1 Field, but I haven’t checked that thread because I know I have no interest in that machine. I never quite got the whole TE thing in general, but I’m not gonna go on a thread to bum out folks who do like it.
my « supposed » camping bass Ibanez mikro is an absolute piece of garbage,

According to YouTube I already like them and have watched their vids before, thanks for the reminder. Not really a dance music fan but the line between goth and straight up dance music is pretty hazy.

For newish goth/Cure wannabe bands I kind of like Soft Kill. I know this stuff was all done before back in the 80s but I still like hearing younger bands making it. I like this one in particular. About 2 min through it comes in heavy in a satisfying way.
Now that you mention it, I think that you’re right. It’s a matter of degree, not kind. There’s always someone showing up on the Super 6 thread saying it is “overpriced” and the “demos” they have “heard” “don’t have enough low end.” Great! Don’t buy the synth then! But TE discussions are a whole other level.

Eno always has interesting things to say. Unfortunately I've never been able to really get into his music, with a few odd exceptions.
