Nothing in particular... PM me, I'll have to go through my collection. I do have a lot of field recordings.
Got talked into a live electronic gig in a few weeks, my first time playing out electronic since Nov 2019 (and first time at all since Feb 2020). Pondering all the equipment I'll have to schlep for this makes me wonder if I should've taken up the flute or the violin or some other instrument that doesn't require multiple trips to my truck to load up and load in.
Suck it up and kill that gig!!!!
I have a “maybe” potential power electronics gig , would be my second one doing that.
I’m terrified, even after over 27 years of gigs.
I've said it before: doing an electronic gig, especially solo, is way harder than just plugging in a bass and playing live with a rock band. So many things to memorize, so many machines to operate, so many ways to screw it up, and nowhere to hide. Takes a lot of prep work.
100% agreed except for a solo bass concerto, I could barely breath during those.

I played the flute from age 8 through 14, and the only time I ever regretted not continuing with it was three years ago when I threw my back out pulling my pedalboard out of its road case.
If you had continued with it, though, imagine how many of the exact same Anchorman references you would've had to endure.
(For the record, I absolutely love Anchorman.)
Me it was a 100lbs 4x10 cab during a snowstorm.

I feel like it’s going to happen to me each time I strap on the doubleneck!
The irony is that when I was 11 or 12 years old I was looking into getting a tranducer for my flute so I could play it in my Hip Pre-Teen Rock Band® but I never followed through...imagine how cool a flute would sound through all the stompboxes I currently own!
I will say if I ever stumble across a Casio DH-x00 MIDI horn or a Steiner-Parker EWI at a garage sale I'll probably nab it...I think I still remember enough of woodwind fingering to be able to make music out of one of those gizmos, and it would definitely get me out of the Stringed Instrument Tuned In Fourths paradigm that occasionally becomes a creative trap.

I never understood how "jazz flute" is supposed to be a joke. There have been real life jazz flautists. I have non-jazz listening friends who thought Will Ferrel made that up for the movie. Otherwise, Anchorman was good.
As far as flute through effects, I know a local amateur jazz flautist who uses delay and reverb on it, sounds kind of cool. We had a flout on the album my band recorded a few years ago; no effects though.

Is that first section you're dry/clean signal, with the first dirty section being the pedal engaged, or does the pedal start that clean? I assume you crank up the blend of the Rat as the demo goes on. What gear did you use to record?
That distortion doesn't sound bad at all. That sustain around 6:45 is impressive.
Yeah it starts with the totally clean tone...
Ibanez SRMS806 (bridge pickup only, EQ flat) > Aghartha > Quilter BB800 DI > audio interface
No other effects or processing and the gain on the interface/DAW wasn't even changed...all that was changed is the level on the Aghartha.
