My own personal hell is amply supplied with those things.
Some updates: we have a couple days off so the wife and I are finishing track vocals (and a few edits) for the duo record. I am so happy to not be using ProTools.
Speaking of the ProTools record, that record has draft masters.
It looks like we might be getting a piano. Last night I dreamed that we were living in a giant old mansion* and in this library there were all these dusty books that belonged to someone else and a pipe organ. And I’m like “do we need a pipe organ and a piano?” I swear my subconscious psychoanalyses itself.
I’m excited to listen to the CCR tracks and contribute my own.

When I lived in Pittsburgh the housing bubble hadn’t happened yet, so I had friends that bought these enormous houses for a song. It was like that.
About 6 years ago I was visiting with some buddies up in Vermont, and we wound up visiting a store where they sold stuff rescued from old houses and buildings, molding, fancy doors, fixtures, etc. Laying there in the dust was a pile of square wooden tubes of various sizes, each with a slot at one end. After a few minutes trying to guess what it was, I finally figured out that we were looking at an old pipe organ, probably got taken out of an old church house. I don't want to imagine the level of effort it would take to make that pile of wooden parts into a functional instrument again, but I hope someone did.
