I should probably explain a bit.
This Zoia patch has 4 note sequencer for note selection. There’s a square LFO controlling the BPM. There’s a clock divider controlling how many steps play before resetting the sequence. There’s also a random LFO controlling the pitch of certain steps and a quantizer to keep things in key. It’s inspired by the Qu Bit Bloom but not as sophisticated (I might spend more time working on this inspiration). This goes out over midi to the Nyx.
The Nyx has some fun “dual” features. Dual oscillators, dual filters, and dual modulators. I’ve set it so a there’s a low octave that runs through one filter controlled by one modulator, and a higher octave with glide running through the other side.
Audio routes back into the Zoia for some delay and reverb. There’s a crossover filter sending the HPF sounds through the delay while the LPF sounds stay dry. The delay also has a clock divider controlling the repeat rate. Add some reverb and that’s the patch for now.
I wonder if someone watching a video multiple times alerts a bot. it does have a cool atmosphere, plus it probably works for someone interested in the M-32.
That kind of slightly melancholy synth music with a train ride video works for me :shrug: Also having "girl" in the title might have helped with popularity
I'm trying to figure out why I got a new YouTube subscriber yesterday. I posted one random video a year ago showing a technique with 0-Ctrl. Before that, nothing since 2017, and those were just a logo and the quick-track-every-few-days music I was dumping on my website.
Maybe someone from here?
Brought my modal mini synth to band practice the other day… still debating on where it is worth using it for 30 seconds in one song just to go boop boop boop on a verse when I could just use a synthy sounding fuzz or something but hey first time I’d heard it through speakers… and it sounded really good!
only other issue is I fiddled with my Solidgoldfx 76 putting it back to germanium instead of silicon via the internal switch. And I’ve either buggered the pedal or broken some patch cables… tried to test all my pedals one by one today but only got halfway through and still having issues so I think might be new cable time.

A good music day, bad body day. The drugs were giving me the sh*ts but at least I was working from home.
Midday what I believe are the final masters of the project that would not end arrived. They’re with the BL for final approval.
New monitor stands arrived in the mail.
Monday nights are post rock band practice. The drummer is out of town, so the guitarist and I decided to try an all electronic set. Him on Digitakt and me on Linnstrument and Micromonsta. It worked so well we with we could do some improv electronic gigs. Though I think I could use a few more knobs. Will bring something a little more elaborate next time.
Questions:
Should I tip the mastering engineer? His prices were good and this project was a PITA.
I intend to delete ProTools from my computer as soon as I hear from the BL that the masters are good to go. I’d like it to be more spectacular than just dragging it to the trash. But you can’t really burn software. I’d like to do the opposite of an unboxing video.
This one is a little deadpan. I am thinking more joyful and vandalous, but I don’t want to vandalize my computer.
Any creative ideas?

huh. no idea. what did you think as bad about it?
it’s basically a beat app that does absolutely nothing else.
(read make trap beats)
no effects can be added to samples (except filter and something else)
interface is weird, even for Live users.
tester said the workflow was particularly slow and frustrating as is the Live cloud interaction
imo koala and your phone mic is a way better sketch pad for ideas.
