tbh I think I would get a crap-ton more use out of the Ct5 if only Transcendence mode and Tuning didn't have to get re-set every time you powered up the pedal.

don't even know what the tuning thing is.
When you power up the Ct5 it defaults to no pitch quantization; the speed [sic] of the Read head in all three modes can be continuously adjusted over a +/- two octave range (via the DIR1 knob).
However, after the unit is powered up you can select different pitch interval levels such that changing the Read head speed (over that same +/- two octave range) can now be quantized to
- a chromatic scale
- a whole tone scale
- a diminished triad
- an augmented triad
- perfect fifths & octaves
These pitch interval levels are selected by nudging the Q switch up or down.
My beef is that not only does the selected pitch interval level not get retained when you power off the unit (it always defaults to no pitch quantization on power up) but also that the feedback for confirming which interval level you've selected is limited to a not-overtly-obvious "long blink" of the LED whenever you get to the end of the list (after which you just keep cycling through the list over and over trying to discern which blink is longer than the preceeding five blinks).
I mean, yeah, you could just play a note through the pedal and then listen to the resulting harmonies as you nudge the Q switch and twiddle the DIR1 knob simultaneously...

didn’t somebody in this group have an aero looper? maybe it was somewhere else. anyway, i recall that they got rid of it, but not sure why.
I got the 1010Music Nanobox Lemondrop today. I have a big affinity for granular processing, it remind me of my own thought patterns. Mini review - It was so intuitive I felt pretty comfortable doing 90% of what I wanted in 30 minutes.
I am having this idea of making a super tiny synth board, but there seem to be so few offerings of tiny keyboards with DIN outs. The Arturia MiniLab 3 seems the smallest I am seeing.
Or might I be better finding a USB to DIN MIDI adapter? Any ones y'all like for that? I took a quick Google and left feeling like, but it is just a little bit more $€£₹ for the MiniLab. The MiniLab just isn't as mini as I was thinking.

My band, where the guitar player and I have silly MIDI controlled pedalboards with a Zoia, SY-200ses, but of Source Audio offerings, etc., have inspired our drummer to add some electronics on to his acoustic kit. We tested some options and got a Keith McMillen Bop Pad. He has some particular interest in adding found field recorded type percussion, and glitchy stuff, which we've overdubbed a good bit of in a studio setting. After looking at options, he is getting a Elektron Model Samples to go with the Bop Pad. The Bop Pad has some radius cc abilities and he is thinking that will be nice to add some expression to the samples.
