Turns out both cab and head are broken.because you like it when the amp makes your bass louder?
Yesterday, cab is fizzy/scratchy and distorts.
Today, using back up cab, amp head shuts off intermittently.

One of the downsides of having more gear is that the odds something will break at any given time go up.
But the plus side of having more gear is that you have more gear.

Chase Bliss Audio is announcing a new pedal tomorrow. No idea what it is, but it's apparently A) inspired by consumer feedback; and B) stereo.

I'm just surprised at how different this time around is for me. The first album was the best of my work over the last five years. This new one is 100 percent new stuff. Still Thorny, still more or less the same cloudy ambient vibe, although I do have a track with a bit more movement in it, some arps and such. I'm trying to lay the groundwork for album #3, which is going to be more in the Synphaera/Martin Steurtzer vein... long spacy stuff with lots of cool sequences.
Considering how slow I've moved in the past, I'm just shocked that I'm getting anything done so quickly. I think I've worked a lot of the kinks out of my creative process. I've got 45 solid minutes, and I'm shooting for around 60 total.
I hope so. I've done a lot of thinking about how different it is this time around. I hope it's a new normal, and I can get out two good releases a year. I just need to learn how to be more productive in summer, as I'm generally exhausted every night from biking and other outdoor excursions. And beer. Lots of beer.you break through and then you get addicted to the rush
