Edit: covid19 update up here.

Government taking major action to prevent what is happening in Usa and Europe.
Everything is getting closed.
Not a fan of the people in power here, but I must commend the decisions made by them on this. Prevent instead of trying to contain the outbreak once its gone $hit storm.

usd to aus is worse hah!

yeah same with the gov here... think it's gone past that now though given even members of the government have tested positive... crazy

hoping to get a chance to mess around on my laptop soon, really wanting to mess with my vst library and make some crazy sounds..

serious question: you guys are actually thinking of buying gear now? it would be good for the economy to keep stuff going, but i'm worried that i'll be out of work for months. maybe i'm just a nervous nellie.
I'm out of work for a minimum of 2 weeks, pay who #;&$$*$ knows what's gonna happen. Gov and employers still don't know exactly what to do. Everything was shut down so fast.

At least they took measures BEFORE $h!te hit the fan over here.

I'm in a relatively safe job with some savings. If a $500 Delay pedal is the death of me, I'll be surprised. That said, I'm not super itchy to buy gear. Virus scare or not, I'm just loaded with what I need, so more toys is almost more of a storage headache than I want unless it's something I'll use regularly.

I know this thread is a nice break from corona talk, but if you are in the states, I plead with you to stay home as much as possible. I talked to a bunch of Dr friends who are fairly high up in the medical community and we have 0 pulse on the impact right now. Stay home because all signs are pointing in the direction that once testing is available we are going to far exceed what is going on in the rest of the world....although most wont get really bad personally, you don't want to be someone who needs oxygen. And yes, even though the news says it isn't in your town...it is. Be on the side of the fence that tests negative when testing becomes available. REAL TALK. a few more days at home and you'll thank me. Sorry if I am wrong, but according to my Dr friends, stay the f.ck home as much as possible, especially now.

I can relate...there's stuff I wouldn't mind picking up, but I've had 7 gigs cancel in the last week, which makes me a little nervous. I could live without income maybe 4-5 months tops, which means gear freeze :/
