Ambient/Post-Rock/Textural bass playing thread

I was referring to the Dubterranean....the new one not available yet.

i will say that this video bugged me.

Yep. Thought I was being petty but I guess I'm not the only one. I have no idea who this guy is, and he seems to do a decent job of showing off the pedal, but his facial expressions and mannerisms annoy me.

Also, his "bad boy" hat. I'd like to see him walk down the street in Camden, New Jersey with that hat on and see how far he gets.

Been unusually swamped these past few days. Got a mix gig for some British rock band I produced over a decade ago. They want to release all the tracks that didn’t make their last record. Kinda fun and the extra dough helps out.

Also decided I want to release a solo electronic record. Weeding through every jam I’ve made in the past two years. Turns out to be 221 ‘songs.’ Some are more finished than others. Hoping to narrow it down to 30 songs, then narrow it down again. Fun process, but man, it’s time consuming!

I can imagine! I've been spending isolation time ripping samples from various sources... I get a bit carried away and suddenly I've got hundreds I have to sort through, rename and catalogue by type... Tedious.

I have and lost charlie foxtrot...I run it into my count to 5...its the go between that connects PurPLL to Count to 5. Charlie Foxtrot is a random noise generator...I use it for bursts of noise....whereas most granular delays I find I can control a bit more deliberately.

Charlie Foxtrot can be had for $130 - $150 if memory serves.

The CT5 seems a bit less chaotic than the CF. I don't want a bunch of abrasive randomness, and it does seem like the CT5 would allow for a bit more control.

@steubig

Damn you!!!
