l’ve experimented with this in modular and like it—-reverse envelope to delay feedback can be a lot of fun. Onset detection to turn things on or off.

I wanted to have something ready for a live-stream tonight but didn't get it figured out. Instead, I worked in VCAs controlled by LFOs. I got hung up on having a S&H module grab the incoming "switching" transient, as it seemed like the incoming transient wasn't strong enough to trigger an event, so I'd need a VCA or multiplier (I think) to boost it high enough. My current patch isn't great, but I can develop it, and it got me working with the Zoia again. I might end up with a second one if this continues.

7pm - 10pm range, Pacific time. It will be on Facebook, but I just found there might be a YouTube stream. I'll post up when I confirm. It's a "dress rehearsal" so I'm not sure what to expect, other than noise :)

Edit - This link should work. There's a placeholder video there now, but it should go live around 7pm Pacific.

Dunno how Zola’s VCAs work, most of mine do not boost, so multiplier would be the ticket.

i went on to his youtube channel (the link for his solo looping ep is dead) and did a quick scan.

mostly reviews, a few videos of his looping tunes, a few of him doing looping on cover tunes. one jammy/groove live set with a band.

guy gets a good sound, seems to play pretty well. not my cup o tea, but it's not supposed to be, most likely.

Seems like a good technical player. Lots of talent....but, not for me.

I got to do a short set the other day for a friend who is putting together a compilation video of people from my usual scene in lieu of the live shows we usually do this time of year. My first time with music gear outside the house since February. Major effort to haul a ton of gear out to play 10 minutes in front of a video camera, but whatevs. Had to do it. Still haven't seen my rock band since February and it's killing me.
