Hate the crackle, but some of the other modulation effects sound interesting.

I know my vinyl sims....crackles etc....
And this one just plain sux @$$. It's terrible.

the crackle is something i would probably never use.

some of the other features, like waveforms and filters, seem really interesting. the chorus/vibrato sounds seem good.

my caveat on all these pedals is that i think they usually sound good on guitar and above frequencies, but not always in bass.

i still like the guy’s shirt.

Solidgoldfx usually do a bass version demo of most pedals. Maybe they'll do one foe this one.

Yeah...shirt is dope. Better than the pedal.

We actually almost had an artist endorsement deal with solidgoldfx with my old band. (Since they are from the province of Quebec also)
Fell through since one of the dudes didn't want a solidgoldfx pedal. Part the deal was each of the 2 guitars and I had to use at least one of their pedals. I really like the beta overdrive, one of my all time favs. I have the old 1st version of it in cream and orange colors.

Just random curiosity question before I get sucked into the Iridium tonight and the edibles kick in. Anyone see that trending thread about big rigs eventually going the way of the dinosaur? Really got me thinking hard about if I will ever need my big rig again (which is a Genzler Magellan with a Gk 212 Neo2 and an Ag 112).

My Markbass Ninja is LOUD. 2 10's, 500 w and light as all hell.

I just don't know if I'll need that kinda air movement again, given my drift away from conventional band stuff. Was great when I was in 8 piece horn bands but those days are probably over.

Where y'all at with that, assuming that there's some sense of normalcy someday? Anyone still using big stuff?

Seems pretty cool. I don't know if it's $250 cool, but cool. Maybe if they fix the crackle and make it sound more like an actual record and give it a volume control. Otherwise it seems like a cool pedal.

I accidentally created fake record pops when I recorded this tune a while back, because my strings were touching the pole pieces on the neck pickup of my Rickenbacker. I didn't do it on purpose and when I played it back it took me a while to figure out what that noise was, but I decided I liked it and it so it stayed.

I have never used anything bigger than a 2x15 Peavey cab back in the day, but not for lack of wanting to. I just don't have room in my little house for an Ampeg fridge and SVT. I love the sound of the big stuff so much, and I'm not above liking how cool it looks, either. Most I could handle room-wise right now is probably a V4B and a 410, but even then I'd have to make extra room for it.

Got zero funds for anything else. So I'll use those till they die or I kick the bucket.

Those "Dr. Who" sounds are from the Bananana Matryoshka through a delay. Love that little pedal.

I've only played through the SVT/fridge combo maybe twice and it was glorious, but there's no way in hell, even in my youth, that I woulda been luggin' that around. I have some back issues now, which is why even the 212, even though not heavy, is just a pain in the ass. But yeah, nothing beats the sound of massive air movement.

"Tanks" indeed. I had a 2 10 and damn, that was heavy. What speakers in those edens?

Now if you did have funds for something else, would you go lighter?

I have no idea what speakers are in those old cabs. But they are built to take a direct grenade blast.

I have no freakin idea, I haven't browsed for cabs and heads for over 10 years. So i must be really outdated.
I guess it would depend on the gig??
I can pretty much use what's available. Used backline stuff often, almost blew up a few underpowered ones a couple times

Gain at 10 volume at spinal tap 11. 210 speakers almost popping out.
100 watt underpowered piece of crap combo, now you die.
