Okay, that was really cool. If there was no video I'd have trouble believing that was one guy doing it live.

Okay, I gotta speak up. Dalton was awesome, even moreso after Moore. He had one good movie and one bad one. He was badass. He actually punched M. I don't get all the Dalton hate, everywhere.
I can only think how unbelievably baffling this conversation must be to someone coming here for the first time, looking for ap-rtbp.
i liked lazenby too. he’s above moore for me. well, moore is at the bottom for me.
brosnan and dalton both had a couple good and couple bad.

Saw this, apparently, the Aphex Twin firmware's been around for a while, they just changed a few things on this one to make it more useful. My partner in my duo got a Bassstation II, recently. They sound real nice.
So its basically the same as the AFX ??

My "big rig" has been living in a rehearsal studio for the past ~15 years, and while it gets used regularly there (or did pre-COVID) I think I took it out to gig twice in all that time.
Conversely, my "small rig" gets (got) a lot of use, to the point where I almost think I prefer the sound of it. Almost. I definitely think the convenience far outweighs any sonic compromises.
So I could definitely imagine getting ride of most of the "big rig" some day...although it's gonna be really hard for me to part with that Eden D-115 cabinet, that thing sounds phenomenal for so many situations.

The big thing with the AFX firmware, as I see it, is allows you to actually tweak the synth per note, ie you could have the cutoff be one thing on one note and different on another. This new model I think just added some controls to make it easier, but you can still do it all on the original BS II, with that AFX firmware.
That's a pretty big small rig. Small to me means 'everything in one hand'.
