I dont get why people are so scared of MIDI it is super basic...this number does this thing that number does that thing...program a controller to send those numbers.

Take a look at the #rip from dropping acid pedals. It even has a switch on it to self oscillate. Been wanting one forever but when money is in hand I always jump at something else.

Well. You could use one as a floor switch pedal and use a foot. You could strap a poking apparatus to your nose (or wherever you feel comfortable strapping and poking). You could get one of those little perpetual motion birds used by Homer Simpson when he worked from home and place the bird to hit the switch. Or you could go Phil Anselmo and use your third arm. Or you could go Stelarc and actually build a useable 3rd hand.

Foot kill switch is a good idea.
Can't do the Anselmo.....hahahahahhaha

Homer motion bird could be awesome, but might be too random. Could cause nuke melt down if it falls over.

Im wayyyyyy too dumb to build a robot arm

Been using midi since the late 90 on Finale to write complete orchestral scores.
So I know very well how the protocol works.

You like it , I hate it.

I’m even going backwards in terms of recording and building « songs ».
I barely use the computer except for big complex projects and mastering.

Most of my stuff now is all SP and 4 track. Gritty, dirty and wonderfully imperfect.
Starting to think OG hip hop style is ingrained in my « esthétique » or something.

Or maybe I’m too lazy to mix the same one song for 3 weeks doing micro edits and .001 dB tweaks.

Dwarfcraft has a box called momento (or similar) that you can tap kill patterns into and it will repeat em back.

Just trying to change it up from the last time. Thanks for checking it out.

We might do one more run at it, just because we have fun working together. I’ll need to come up with a new Zoia patch and some Medusa settings. I had fun using a Krell patch on the 0-Coast, so I might build up something similar.

Totally unrelated....any opinions on the wmd geiger counter?? I'm really on the fence about this one......and a little short on funds....so every purchase i make is overly researched.

Listening back now and watching, to get an idea of what it sounded like outside of my headphones.
That Plumbus Fuzz is hilarious. The breakfast making from 10-15 min mark is pretty funny, but also sounded decent.
Around the 25:00 mark sounds decent, too. The bass loop is my 5 string though the Hilbish Pessimiser and Sol preamp.
