I pretty much won't buy a verb for the board unless it has a low cut. Unfortunately, that limits one's choices.

Do you mean a low cut on the dry or wet signal? I personally don't want my dry signal to lose low end, but I do on my wet signal for sure.
Have you reached out more than once? Were you kind when you reached out? If it were me, I'd probably be commenting regularly on any social media posts they made and asking for an update. After doing that once or twice, I'd be shocked if they didn't address you in some way. I'd keep it nice and civil though...if you come out hot people don't respond well to that.
I was beyond nice. Like sunshine, and rainbows out the butt nice.

I went on the Facebook tensor group, no help there.
Asked once for an update on December 28th. Had a reply on January the 8th.
Just sent one this afternoon very politely asking for any news on solving my issue.
The facebook group isn't really managed by them. I'd go to their Instagram. Comment on their posts. Facebook group is a bunch of end users and low volume.
there is a small but good range of verbs that have low cut on the wet. But it took awhile to figure out.
I watched that video and it's pretty good.
One time a few years ago I was at a local jazz jam and was playing electric bass. I don't recall what the song was, but there was this older dude there playing trombone and when his turn to solo came up he played one very long note, sustained through the entire head, with a slow attack and a slow decay, and it was awesome. He could played a million notes, we'd seen him do it before, but this time he played it super cool. I miss that jam session because it was the only place a rock-playing jazz n00b like me could meet and play with guys like that.
It's one of many cool concepts. When used effectively it can be really powerful. It's a constant building of tension. That never, or nearly resolves.
Low cut on the verb signal. Meris Merc 7 and Blackhole do it. I think Ventris does, too. It's crucial for mud avoidance.
I feel like I should make a list. In addition to those: Neunaber verbs; a few of the other Eventide algos but not all; Boss RV-500; Ventris; Nimbus; also the new Walrus concoction (yes I preordered). I would kill for a Belton brick with high pass but that's another thread.

Heard back from Walrus and was told that there is no low end loss in the dry signal and that it does not lose any volume at 100% wet. If that's all true (no way to know for sure until I try) then this could be a real winner.
This whole reverb search began with the Nimbus. That reverb with 100% wet is a sound that I'm chasing...but that Nimbus is so bright and cold sounding. Would love to find something that can do what it does with a more natural sound.
Have you tried the Empress? It has EQ and output level controls, along with multiple engines, freeze, and looper functions.
One of my very favorites, but is larger, has more than I'll ever use, and I don't think it will self oscillate...has more of a freeze sound. One of the very best sounding reverbs, if not the best, that I've heard on bass. No question.

The Walrus person on IG told me that the volume is "slightly under unity" when 100% wet. That's enough to make me wait to see what Jonathan here says when he gets his.
