IME the real trick is having the filters (low- and high-cut) on the input to the reverberation circuit...so it's not only out of your dry signal path, but it sculpts the frequency content of the signal before it gets reverberated. Allows for more control of the ambience shape than trying to EQ a reverberant wash that's already been "seeded" by too much low end (or too much high end).

Not sure I've ever seen a pedal that does that, but then again I rarely look to pedals for reverb.

Ok, I'm off the lawn. As I walk away, I'm muttering though...

"You asked why your experience w Red Panda was different from mine...I think I figured out why. Although I didn't have to pester them to get a reply and good customer service, I did choose to contact them on a platform that they monitor. If you don't want to do that, then shrug...good luck I guess?"

Imo direct email with customer service is quite the valid form of communication.
I also have the name of said person of contact.

If they only reply towards "visible" to others platforms. I'm greatly disappointed in their business model.

My 2 cents.

100% agree. The ones for sure that have high pass filters: Neunaber, Nimbus, RV-500, Ventris (with software), forthcoming Walrus concoction. In a DAW situation it's super easy.

Well, I must be dealing with a different Red Panda. I sent my bricked Particle back, last week. Today:
"We got your pedal and it does appear to have bricked at some point during the update. We went ahead and replaced the circuitboard. The new board is identical to the old one, we just made sure it has the updated bootloader installed, so you shouldn't have any issues with updates in the future. We'll drop it back in the mail later today."​

Get off his lawn. He'd rather be mad and bash on Red Panda than get a reply and a fix...I don't understand it either, but you can't help someone who doesn't want help and from what I'm reading ugly would rather make a point than get his pedal fixed. Ima leave it alone at this point, but yeah...you, me, everyone else on the planet has had positive experiences with Red Panda so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gonna speak up for Ugly here. Can't say anything about his Red Panda scenario (or love for wall punching), but I have a broken TAFM and haven't been able to reach SmallSoundBigSound for over a year. I've tried email, FB messenger, and telephone. Everything but Instagram. I am unfailingly polite and offering to pay for their time and the postage charges. Not even an acknowledgment of the message. It would be one thing if my messages were somehow magically going to junk but the multiple phone messages presumably would have fixed that. I was worried maybe he was sick but he's posting online and selling pedals. I have no idea of what to do other than marvel at this $175 paperweight.

Guys...love you to pieces, but almost every pedal company is regularly on Instagram. It's worth signing up and sending a message through there. If all else fails make the move of commenting on their last post that you can't get in have been trying to contact them for x amount of time, and that your broken pedal needs fixing. I promise that it'll get their attention. :) I know it can be really frustrating, but sometimes you just have to play that game to get your pedals fixed, especially with such small companies run by human beings who aren't always the best business people. Have been through it myself enough times to learn. Good luck!
