Pitch tracking EQ!!!
You can have the EQ follow the harmonic of your choice.
I’ve wanted this for clean blends. I think this will do that.

I haven’t had much chance to play with them. I think next day or two probably give me some time. I just landed in Oslo. I ended up doing more running around and visiting people in London and Berlin that I thought I would. However, the time I did get was fun. Not the most expressive musical tool in the world, but definitely not bad.

Screwing around with the PO KO. Wishing I had a way to get the Audio on my phone. It’s a fun device.

Also, Garage Band in iPhone has some cool Ableton-inspired tools for building Loop-based tracks. Time to explore.

A week or three ago I picked up a Caroline Meteore, kind of a lo-fi reverb pedal. It has a momentary switch that causes a feedback loop when held down, which, depending on the knobs, can cause a slow build up of harmonic overtones or an all-out meltdown of feedback. I got it in this special edition color, because why not? Price was the same either way.

I played an electronic show last weekend, using sequenced synths and played guitar through this pedal, among others. Love it.

I keep mine in my pocket (literally) almost all the time. Amazing to make beats and jam over them whenever I catch a minute or fraction of a minute. My only problem is that my kids keep trying to take it to make beats and jam - truly the best invention. I think I may give up the bass and start playing the pocket operator.

Don’t make me post pictures of the tough spots I’ve been through. You might reconsider what “better” is. I did have to wear diapers, and learn to walk as both an infant and adult.
...that said, life is not that bad for me. The good times are pretty good.

Life would be even better with a Pitch-Tracking EQ PEDAL ! 1590A or better yet, 1590G2 with top-mount jacks...

I don't even know if the G2, vertically oriented, has enough space for top mounts, but horizontal it would.

Tracking gets interesting. From the demo video, it looks like it works best with a clean monophonic signal. Trying to track with something like distortion overtones or chords would make things really difficult. If you could package that in an analog pedal, I’d be interested. I think it would be tricky. And by tricky I mean expensive.

Like some filter envelope followers, you'd split the signal direct from your instrument direct into the Pitch-Tracker EQ pedal, which would have an effects loop.

With that setup, the tracking is triggered with your clean signal but the Pitchy-EQ effect itself can then be placed anywhere you want in your chain, including after harmonically rich chords with a Sonic Maximiser/Aphex Aural Xciter and gobs of distortion —
BAM! The ol' spice weasel and Bob's Your UnEQle.

Holy OMG... I never knew GarageBand on the iPhone had so much of what I want!!! So many crazy things in their for synth stuff... only ever thought I had the basic keyboard thing but with the selection of synths and so on... like fuzz sweep bass synth... this is freaking awesome!

It’s a very nice piece! I like it a lot...do you not have a way of recording into a DAW of some sort?
