Ambient/Post-Rock/Textural bass playing thread

That green pedal belongs in the Pedals Photogenic thread.

Have you seen the black version in the works?

They are in stock at Perfect Circuit so my weekend could be filled with sequences :)

it’s a fun sequencer, especially if you’re stuck for ideas. Plus, with all that fractal stuff you can make so many cool variations over time. I highly recommend it, not that that means anything :)

Everything is freakin shut down, we haven’t been able to jam since last August.
:(

So sorry, man. It’s such a strange feeling to devote your life to something then not be able to do it.
I’m starting to play live 3-5 shows a week. We’re all fully vaccinated and I need to make a living.
Sadly, our van got broken into at the hotel last night. My current favorite live bass got stolen. Fano JM4. Such a nice bass. Bummed

Man...that makes me so sad and so angry. I'm really sorry for you. Also...I've always been really curious about those. What a beauty. I hope you get it back, brother.

Thanks so much! They are really fantastic basses for what I want out of a bass at least. If mine doesn’t turn up, I’ll like getting another

So sorry it’s dragging out getting vaccinated up there!

It’s quite pathetic actually. (The vax situation)

What was the particular thing you liked about that bass??
Looks awesome BTW.,...

For what I like, the neck is super comfy, it balances very nicely too. I have a thing for TBird pickups. Those are Dennis Fano wound ‘TBird Style’ pickups, which are not quite like my Lollar TBird pickups or the ThunderBucker Ranch vintage style TBird pickups. The Fanos aren’t quite as tubby, but that really works for some of my gigs. They remind me of a thicker, punchier J pickup

Thicker punchier J.
