Ambient/Post-Rock/Textural bass playing thread

When I first got into the iPad, I was using Auria. It's pretty thorough, not the easiest learning curve, but it has professional features, for sure. I don't really use the iPad much for multitracking, nowadays.
Yeah, i was just asking because I’m not that knowledgeable on iPad.
The more info I can gather, the less $$ I waste on useless apps. (Even though they are cheap compared to our cork sniffing pedals and synths.)

They should be. The trick is finding where they are stored. Often you can right click on a sample and select “show in finder/browser” to get to the folder location.

Verified. Went to a drum rack. Right click the sample and picked "show in browser" and found the directory. You can see sample packs in the browser too.

When I first got it, I bought a lot. My main motivator was having a Mellotron that I didn't have to have on my computer. I have a lot of the best synths on there. I just really prefer hardware - I rarely use my softsynths on my PC, either.

Put the Medusa in FM synth mode and plugged it into the Zoia last night. A little delay and a little phaser. BAM in the effects send. It was pretty spaced out in here. I’m sure the neighbors thought aliens were landing.

hasn’t the alien been living there for a while?

:)
Yeah. But he’s gotta go out and beam back occasionally.

that pic reminds me of a story a prop master who worked on ken russell’s “crimes if passion” told me.

apparently russell wanted *a lot* of dildos to choose from for a scene. this guy had to go the l.a. sex shop called the pleasure chest (iirc) to buy an assortment of sizes, etc. anyway, he described walking from his car to his house with an armful of these things… and his neighbors’ reactions.

This wins the internet for today.
"Ok dude, here's the credit card, get as many dildos as possible....ASAP!!!"

Also, why did he bring them back home?!?!?
;)
But hey ,who am I to judge. Whatever turns your crank!!!!

Brings back memories of me being the go to guy to get condoms when we where kids. I didn't mind at all but some of my buddies where terrified. I hindsight , i should have black mailed my friends......

Gimme your Nintendo for 2 weeks......or else no nookie for you!!!! I guarantee it would have worked.

The Pleasure Chest is just down the street. I'd assume that's the one. They used to have some incredible "novelty" sized items on the shelf with hilarious warning signs on them. It has "cleaned up" a lot since then. That shop was actually a client of a CPA firm I worked for. I wanted that account so bad. I never got it, but I did once work on another adult "publication" client. At one point I even interviewed for a job at Flynt Publications. That was hilarious. The controller threw a stack of porn mags on the desk and said "if you aren't comfortable with this you need to leave now." Apparently they often had people accept job offers and not show up once their family/friends found out.

apparently the pleasure chest does most of its biz as mail order to the bible belt.
