My 2 Death metal cents,

Shame the style had about 7465q734650712346051347065107349651034 copy bands that where ZZZZZzzzzzz

Last Awesome Death metal band IMO is Blood Incantation. (Both albums are cool)
No trigs, no edits, all taped live. No cheat codes here. Real Shizzle.
Bass player is also 100% fretless.

Ya, that's definitely not my cup o tea though.
But at least he was trying new stuff, can't blame someone for that.
And the clean vocals on the last death albums are .....for me.....soooo cringe....
But hey, it's all cool with me.

That has actually been a long-time idea for me - an ambient project with bass as one of the main elements - but I have never taken the step to try and make it happen. That's partly why I'm interested in the DFAM/Subharmonicon combo, to begin making some of these "backgrounds" - or maybe I should call them bases? Though of course anything can serve.

Well, the site did go a bit weird so there was obviously a level of interest for sure!

It appears they are taking preorders for the second batch, which is very cool for those who didn't snag one.


I did though, never did I think I'd be playing the "spam-refresh" game but Olivier pulled it out of me!
