Oddly, I’m transitioning to this after years of loving distortion. I did just buy a fuzz, so I’m obviously still infected with the bug for it, but I’m not as enthusiastic about it as I was. I definitely find myself using less gain than I would’ve in the past.

I have flirted with fuzz in the past but it is not my thing any more

well, uninteresting synth sound plus the guy doesn’t know fuzz pedals.

but, it almost looks like he’s using a blend knob, which i didn’t think it had. (i had asked many folks about this and they all said it wasn’t q blend—hmm.)

that is unless he’s splitting the signal and only bringing in the fuzz volume on one output.

Messing around with the Zoia sequencer and clock modules today. Getting it to the point where I follow what’s happening and how it all works. Learning a few things about some of the tools in my toolbox and how to use them. Learning is kinda fun.

saw that the euro rack Zoia is due out soon. I’m thinking it’ll get a place in my rig.

Happy Monday folks! I was curious if anyone could recommend a looper that could record two loops from different sources. I'd like to be able to simultaneously loop a signal from the beginning and end of my effects chain. It sounds like the Pigtronics Infinity (but not the Infinity 2?) and the Boss RC-500 can, but I haven't found confirmation.

I had an infinity, you can have the two inputs be like two mono loops, I believe. Been a while, though, so you may want a further combination. I'm sure if you ask Pigtronix, they'd let you know.

I’ve got an Infinity and I think I follow what you’re trying to do. Let me double check the tutorials on the Pigtronix site, but I’m thinking that could be achieved. It’s got two inputs and two outputs. If you’re sending the output to a single mono output, then might need a mixer.
I think the audio is routed
In 1 > Out 1
In 2 > Out 2
Then you can trigger loop pairing 1 or 2 or both 1+2 at the same time. But I doubt In 1 audio passed to Out 2.

I might even be willing to part with my Infinity…

I think that may be the case.

I must say that I'm missing my Infinity, too. I think the Aeros has more than I need, and there's still some quirks in it that really piss me off.

My only caveat with the Infinity is that it can have an audible loop point. There’s a “click removal” function that doesn’t quite do what I’m after. For transient based stuff it works fine. I found the issue when I was trying to loop a big wash pad sound with long reverb tails. I was trying to get an infinite pad/drone with a seamless loop. My only other experience to compare it to is the loop function on the Empress Delay and Reverb pedals.
