Interesting. Had to get to a gig early because of some huge even downtown, but pedals with cv always have my attention

Thanks, it is indeed quite unique.
Don't forget to ask why he got rid of it.
Maybe I should just go to the local hardware store and buy 30$ worth of crap to sample and loop instead?
Thanks for asking those questions for me, very much appreciated.so. he still has it. he's also a bass player (ebass and upright).
here's what he had to say:
"Hey! I do indeed have one and it’s an awesome instrument"
"Sort of a misbehaving robot"
"But also a good amount of control"
"Feels very very playable"
i ask: <so useful for improvy sorts of things?>
him:
"Yes very"
"Kind of almost exclusively for improvy things"
"It’s reallllly hard to rebuild patches"

Just pushed me closer off the edge of going down the rabbit hole.

I don't think I even have a "list".....dunno what to tell you.
it’s not really on my list of things i “need,” so i don’t know what to ask.
if you have specific questions, i could ask them.
Replying to myself, I think I’m in a rut.I don't think I even have a "list".....
(Shrugs)....
More woodshed,time and ideas maybe?
I hear you, I shouldn't complain too much.lol
sometimes experimenting with new stuff yields new ideas/directions. sometimes it’s mindless consumerism.
not sure where i am on that continuum right now.
Interesting frequency splitter.

The more I look at gear these days, the dumber I feel about not learning the stuff I have better. Planning new deep dives into the Octatrack. I still don’t know the Arranger very well and there’s a truckload of possibilities to use the arranger while performing/improvising. Also want to try using it to sequence Logic. Need a midi interface to go midi to usb, which means more gear :/
