Here's the insides of my DB455 400W amp, designed and built by yours truly!

As this head has the same specs and features as any recently made amp, I decided to take it to a Eden blessed technician for a clean & lube and have him scope the real power. Interesting that it specs out at 152 watts 8 Ohms and 312 watts 4 Ohms. For either 1 or both of my 8 Ohm cabs, that actually works fine.

The fan came on today! Playing fairly loud and the fan automatically came on to chill its own self, then shut itself down. Cool.

The chassis is now clean enough to eat off of, though I won't be.

The tube at left was also replaced with a tube I ordered durect from Eden for only $15. This is what they sent, which works very nicely. I love tubes and love this picture. The shadows are intriguing to me.

Hi Billy,

most of my amps are pretty clean, but some of them required quite a bit of cleaning (inside & out) to get them to look that way.
