Acoustic Gen-II B-600 in the cab of my B-450 (210) combo.

Here's a photo of a burned-up B15NF that I bought really cheap last summer. Notice the hole burned in the printed circuit board. I bought it as a project piece to try to learn something about tube amps, particularly the old B15N's.

I rebuilt it as a slightly modified B15NC:

 that sure is purdy!!!! How does it sound ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? ;)

IMO, the Little Bastard sounds great! This is my first all tube head and one of the things I've noticed is the "sound of air," I think some call this "openness." I'm comparing this to my MB102P combo. I love the sound of my MB but the Little Bastard just amplifies differently.

Great warm, vintage clean sound. Nice harmonic breakup when pushed. Keep in mind this is 30w so no way is it keeping up with my MB in the loudness arena and I didn't expect it to.

That's pretty cool how they put the big filter capacitors right by the output transistors, giving a direct path for current to the amp's output. Add the large transformer, and it isn't too surprising that you've got a punchy amplifier.

My Eden WT-500 is somewhat disappointing in this regard, as the central power supply board has longish connections to each power amp board. Will post some pics soon!

I had the pre-amp of my SVT out the other day. I'm sure there are better pics in here, but I've only looked at two pages, so I haven't seen them :D.
