I know, seriously. I was all over that one.

That's amazing!!

The Warehouse is in Kansas City (I've been there, North KC to be exact) so it leaves KC...goes to Lenexa (suburb of KC) the goes BACK to KC (main hub) and then leaves to go to Indy....go figure!!

Kind of like going to Hawaii from KC via Atlanta....:p

Not actually in N. KC any longer, different part of the city. I'm guessing warehouse to hub, to airport explains the routing...

They've also closed down the warehouse store. Was kind of a fun place to pick up scratched/dented/thrashed equipment. They also handled returned/opened merch there as well. Plus you could pick up any orders right there.

I bet it wasn't a mistake. MF probably was sitting on a bunch of these things that have a poor rep and no one was buying. Now they've dumped all of their stock, are out of the loop and you guys that get them will enter factory warranty hell.

nor is he in touch with reality. for an amp that not a lot of people on here like (me included), i see a ton of them in use. the b2re is in no danger of being discontinued for lack of sales.

I remember when i wanted a B2re. Right when i started out.... said AMPEG, had lots of power, and was available.

But, i eventually came across used gear, or built my own. But not everybody does that.

That said.. is Talkbass REALLY a good indicator of what working musicians think and play? ;)

i absolutely think it is. what goes on here seems to mirror my experiences knowing and watching other working bassists. got some who have to have the latest and greatest, some who stick doggedly to the tried and true, some who buy whatever they can get cheap, etc.
