very satisfied with my basses, MM and a Fender Jazz V, but my GK rig has systematically taken dumps on itself over the past 6 months, so I'm very unsatisfied with that. But I love that GK tone so much.

Anone actually satisfied with their rig?

most professionals are a lot less fussy about their rig than the average TBer.
i'm very happy with my rig. it's a lot of boutique stuff, but if i use my bass into any of the good class D amps, i'll be happy.
for most people a nice fender bass into any modest amp, or any amp at all paired with a VT, should be enough to keep you plenty happy. of corse then the question of reliability and all of that comes into play..
so, yes im happy with my gear. i can use the same rig for the rest of my life and that'll be cool with me. i still like to browse, see what the new and exciting stuff is, maybe get my hands on some cool new stuff, more lightweight, whatever, but i'm happy.

I had been constantly looking for satisfaction with my rig, and I finally found it in a Markbass 210 combo (CMD 102P) and 210 extension (102HF). It's everything I've ever wanted in a small rig.
Every bass I own sounds great through it, and I've barely touched EQ on it since I got it. I use to color my sound with an MXR DI+, but I haven't used it since I got the Markbass.

I'm 80% satisfied. I need to revamp my amp set up. I'm kinda divided as to what to get; a combo (Markbass) or a component setup (separate preamp - power amp - cab). I'm getting older and getting to the point where I don't want to lug around a lot of stuff so right now I'm leaning toward the combo.
I'm 100% satisfied with my current instruments. I have a nice cross section; active and passive, traditional and modern sounds. However, there are a couple of things that I've always wanted; a 5 string '51 type P Bass with 35" scale (currently in talks with Nino) and a 35" 5 string Thunderbird type bass (still looking for options).

I'm to the point where I probably won't buy any more basses ever, and it's hard not to be happy with the collection of amps and cabs and the DI I have. Pedals may be another story, but I'm pretty close.

I have various new and old Rickenbackers running through an SWR Bass 350 into an SWR 410 usually, Taurus III bass pedals which will run through the band's decent sized PA.
I also have a Workingman's 2004 and a Peavey 210 cab so I could run stereo if I wanted, or just use it as a spare.
Am I 'done' yet?

I spent part of the weekend looking through the Jule Monique thread and drooling over their site, and also would really like to snag a QSC KW153 for a stage monitor for the Taurus IIIs.
I'd also love to have a nice small combo to keep at church for the youth choir gigs, ideally a Mesa Walkabout, but it doesn't have to be that good, just good enough I suppose.
Gotta wait until I can afford either of those,and that day may well be very far away.
My Daughter is 16 and my son is 14, so college is looming rapidly.

Generally very happy with my rig. I need a new cabinet. And have ordered a Barefaced 69er as hopefully the answer.
Otherwise my rig is Fender basses ('72 Jazz, '75 Precision, '13 Cabronita, '13 Road worn Jazz that I am getting refinished and the odd-ball Gibson SG bass).
My main rig is an Ampeg 1972 SVT. I also have a 2001 SLM made Ampeg SVT. My smaller rig is a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2 with the 12" Genz Benz cab and a 15" Ampeg.
Effect include:
- Envelope filters (Moog MF-101 or Mutron III)
- Drive/fuzz/overdrive/distortion (Keeley Fuzz head or AnalogMan Peppermint fuzz, just ordered a Darkglass Vintage Microtubes)
- Octave (Boss OC-2, OC-3, BYOC of Mutron Octave Divider, original Mutron Octave divider)
- Phase (MXR Phase 90 script reissue or Mutron Phasor)
- Delay (EHX Memory Boy and will buy the mini-Moog delay)

very happy with my set up, Ric 4003, about 10 years old, Trace Elliot GP12 SMX, Hartke 4X10. there is a slight humming but trace seem to do that, maybe a grounding issue. All i'd really like is a meatbox and a decent envelope, maybe the DOD one.
a while ago i got obsessed with getting some 18 inchers and a dbx subharmonic thing but realised that actually that was pointless and by set up sounds exactly how i want it to anyway. deep and chunky, fat and funky

My only dissatisfaction arises when theres insufficient FOH support for larger venues. I didnt spec my rig to be able to handle everything from coffee houses to amphitheatres, so if the sound guy wants great bass response in a 1,000-seat auditorium, hed better be prepared to help out. I simply show him my DI box or amp connection, and then it becomes his problem.
