That must've been awesome.
One of my favorite encore moments was them coming back on stage and bursting into Marcus.
Dan Maines is the bassist, and I'm not sure where he was born, but he did attend Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, MD.
I'm not a closet stalker, a friend of mine attended school there at the same time.

I'm no Fender expert, but I'm pretty sure that's a US Fender Deluxe Jazz.
He's got a Darkstar'd Lakland that he plays a lot now that's pretty nice.

The only downside to seeing Clutch live, for me, is that I can't take my eyes off of JP...his skills are ridiculous. Impeccable timing.

Yeah, like most bands when they get a nice major label deal, he rushed out a bought an entry level guitar so he could use it in their first major video.....

Always been a huge fan of their stuff. Awesome groove, catchy songs, great vocals and riveting lyrics. I have to admit their last two LPs left something more to be desired, but the Blast Tyrant re-release bonus acoustic disc is phenomenal.

The 'Basket Of Eggs' disc is indeed most glorious. Tight Like That is probably one of my top 5 songs and I thought an acoustic version may not hit the spot. I needn't have worried!
And a bad-ass computer is not something I own, sadly. But 'Wishbone'...yeah, great track. Second only to Muchas Veces on ER.
