It is a „Nixie“ power supply. It goes from 60…400volt. I made a little extra board for testing:

About as DIY as I get with pedals is kits, so here is my latest one. Parentheses Fuzz with modified graphics by Micah Ulrich, printed using here's UV printing service. The LEDs are diffused purple. Aluminum top hat knobs from Small Bear Electronics. Black footswitch toppers from Amazon.

Very nice. I have this on my project list as well. I really like the tones and sounds that come from Dunwich. How would you compare this to the wizard and VT . I have built the VT and run that at 18v.i just finished building an ODB in a 1590B and etched the enclosure for it. i had an original and really missed having one. i also installed a relayed true bypass and a 9V regulator for the bypass circuit so when i run it at 18V (36V with the LTC1144CN8 charge pump), i won't compromise the relay board.

Still got lots of DIY ideas in the background and as many have seen I am doing a good number of projects that are bass-centric or bass-friendly
I've been making my own stripboard layouts using verified schematics from DIY pedal websites. Starting with graph paper, pencil, and a big eraser. Creating layouts is a challenge with tetris, chess, and cross-word puzzle elements.

I've also done a new layout with all the caps in through-hole format, which just leaves 1206 format resistors and the two SOIC-8 opamps as far as SMT parts. Board size will be very slightly larger, but for pedals this probably won't matter much at all. I made one test pedal with a frequency sweep from 160-8.5KHz and gain/resonance up to ~15dB, which is by far the best sounding iteration I've yet come up with.
Those pots in the pic are the 80 cent Tayda reverse (C) taper dualies, which seem like mostly a tease as far as workability in this design. Having the right taper is really great in terms of control feel, but the section matching is predictably sketchy. Back to the drawing board to see if I can make this work a little better, as although it "works" my tuning options are greatly limited. In any case I've bonked on this project for the moment and am moving back to my long delayed tube amp build for a bit now. Once I knock that out I intend to do a deep dive into pedals for a while, at least a few optimized for various non-bass instruments.
