Aionfx Egyptian Gods of the Underworld duo; Anubis & Osiris.
Anubis is a Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe clone, a silicon Tonebender mk.II derivative with extra tone controls. I've built two germanium TB mk.II's and they are amongst my favorite fuzzes. So I wanted a silicon one loaded with features and Anubis delivers... one way passage to the underworld.

Osiris is a Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh clone, a Big Muff derivative with germanium diode clipping and extra tone controls. This is my 5th Muff variant build and I wanted one with diode clipping options. After trying out ge clipping mode, I prefer stock si clipping more. I did like how the High & Tone controls work together for creating a mid-scooped tone.

Anubis is on the left, paint metallic blue with a little high gloss blue.
Osiris is on the right, painted metallic red with a little metallic blue.
Modded the drill template on both to have side jacks without batteries. Modded the coupling caps on the Anubis from 100nF to 150nF.

Far as diode clipping I always found it to be more pleasant with a more open feel.
Basically higher voltage thresholds like LED's (1.7 to 2.0)
instead of very low thresholds like Germanium/Silicon (.3 to .7)

Older non bright red LED's are about 1.7 volts.
Then I found it easier to just string 2 switching diodes like 914 or 4148 in series.
Which was pretty good open tone around 1.4 volts

If Aion names a brutal gated fuzz after Seth and a octave up fuzz after Horus I would have to build another Egyptian duo to battle it out for supremacy!

I've been dabbling in diode clipping options lately and tend to find the original circuit designers got it right the first time. Tubescreamer, Big Muff, and DOD 250 all sounded best to me with stock diodes. I do like having diode toggle switches to add variety to old familiar circuits. Sometimes a dirt pedal just needs options for a little more or less distortion on any given day.

It's a simple delay pedal built with a cheap little PT2399 module and a fet buffer. The artwork was adapted from a coffee cup.

Just finished a GUMA-Drive. Real happy with it. It was above my soldering skills (and gear) so it was mostly done by my brother (an engineer, designs electronics since he was 10 y/o). Also he had all the printing material needed, lacquer, etc. I really only applied primer and yellow to the box, that's about it All in all a nice project and one more great excuse to hang out with my bro, who recently moved close to me after being 12K km away for almost 2 decades. Now I only need to get him to sit seriously in front of a drumkit (he's a SOLID drummer, he just always had to be dragged when it came to making music, simply he leans to other stuff in life).

It sounds like this (using my rat rod Jazz, both pickups, then just the neck, EQed and compressed after the GUMA-Drive). Will record a wider variety of samples and do a video once the (still missing) knobs make their way home.

Doom Stick II clone on stripboard.
Outrageously loud, Earth shattering doom that slays on B string. Rolling off bass guitar's volume will take it down one small notch into face melting distortion territory.

This is one of my top favorite sounding pedals. I built the big box version and it has a permanent place on my board. That must have been a real challenge to fit new a 125B. Great job.

I've been making my own stripboard layouts using verified schematics from DIY pedal websites. Starting with graph paper, pencil, and a big eraser. Creating layouts is a challenge with tetris, chess, and cross-word puzzle elements.

Been busy with a few projects. Need to get on graphics and boxing, my least favorite thing to do. Many other projects on the bench. Just built a 1 in 10 out midi splitter out of nessessity. I had to many midi devices chained on my board and it was causing issues. Found a great diy kit on the bay for less than I would spend in parts and it works great. Hard to find an enclosure for it so I used clear acrylic and standoffs and mounted under board. I’ll post pics if anyone is interested.
Now for the pedals.

Dunwich DIY Bass Overdrive. Love the versatility of this one. Great design. Tested and working great just need to add my graphics.

Fuzzrocious Rat Tail Clone. This thing kills on bass. Gotta get this one boxed up but I’m running out of room on my board.

Nurse Quacky clone. Had to try something other than overdrive, fuzz and distortion. Not bad sounding but you need to play with a special touch to be able to work it. Very sensitive to how hard and light you play.

I was commissioned to build this one. Added an external bias control as requested. Great sounding circuit for guitar, not so much for bass . With proper EQing it could be useable.

The Dunwich Wizard is probably my favorite bass fuzz. it's no wonder they're so hard to find. here's a gut shot of my 125B Wizard build:

Not a finished project:

It is the exact replica of the "normal" channel of the Ampeg B-15N preamp. It is very important to create the correct voltages (165v / 175v) on the anodes of the 6SL7 tube. This is the only way to get the "right" sound.
