Any DIY pedal builders on TB? Strut your stuff!

Thanks for that info! Probably easier then it appears but still confusing…at least to me.
Here’s a link to their “instructions”. I have a few projects I’m working on and will hopefully figure out how to create the pedal artwork when I’m ready to order my enclosures. I did the water slide decals and they came out OK but a lot of work!

OK, do you understand the basic idea of primer/color/clearcoat as separate layers in your vector art software? The white primer layer is necessary to make colors pop over dark enclosure finishes and the clearcoat gives scratch resistance. In most cases you just cut and paste your color layer to the the other two layers, then fill the graphics in those layers with Roland white and Roland clear respectively. The most cnfusing aspect is probably that Tayda's Roland printer software looks for specific layer and color names, and won't know how to proceed unless they are exactly correct.

Yes I inderstand the layer concept and have done some basic graphic arts for my water slide decals. I used Paint Shop Pro but it unfortunately it does not output vector format. I am probably making it harder then it really is…as usual!

I’m trying to make a LPF. Can anyone tell me what kind of LPF circuit this is. I’m looking to make a specific freq sweep but I’m not sure where to start. I thought if I could figure out what kind it is I can run it through a calculator to get my frequencies. Active inverting, non- inverting, sallen 2nd order ect.. there are so many it’s overwhelming for a noob. Maybe @johnk_10 or @Passinwind could shed some light ? I’m wanting to sweep from 250hz to 22k.

If you want to start with my open source one I'll be happy to give you the LTspice model and you can take it from there. It's pretty much a cookbook 2nd order Sallen-key format except for the resonance tuning. ;)

I’d be willing to give it a shot. I haven’t learned how to use LT spice yet but I’ve been wanting to. This would help get me going .

What are the differences? Do you prefer one over the other? Which Orange is the emulation base on. Great job as always.
i'm not disssa, but one of them uses jfets to emulate tubes and the other uses opamps. i personally prefer the Jfet version but they both sound great.

I was gonna post some pics 2 weeks ago after populating the board, but figured I should wait til I got some sound of it, but BAM!!!! My first build! A BYOC classic fuzz. It's still a metal box because I haven't figured out how to make it look cooler or decided what I ultimately want to make it look like. I'm a big fan of pedal aesthetics so I'm sure I'll start falling deep down that rabbit hole.

Populating the board was cakewalk and really enjoyable, but today I did the wires and finished the rest and I found it not hard, but not easy. I can definitely see how this skill will get better with more practice and experience. Not the prettiest, but it worked on my first try (both battery and plug!) and now I've dipped my feet into the pool!!!

It was a great first effort. I learned a LOT...particularly which of my tools don't really cut it.
