just finished another one of these. it's a 3BOD on the left and a Submarine with a mids select on the right. the sub feeds the 3BOD when both are engaged.
Here's a rehoused vintage Bartolini TCT onboard bass preamp. I made it for a mate who's in the RAAF, and used a photo of the actual material used for their uniforms. The build needed an output buffer because the TCT has a very high output Z. I also used a P channel mosfet as reverse polarity protection since the input stage has quite limited headroom and I didn't want the V+ drop associated with a regular in-line diode.

Merry Christmas! Pedal elves have begun building a batch of Aion FX circuits. First pedal found under the Christmas tree is a kid painted Andromeda overdrive. Sounds pretty good on bass too.
Second pedal to arrive on Christmas Eve is Traynor TS50 preamp. This thing sounds phenomenal! Five stars!

i just finished this one. It's a clone of my Spaceman Equinox but instead of requiring an 18 volt power supply, it has a charge pump converting 9V to 18V internally. It also has a relayed true bypass.
Parasit studios has a pedal which i like but they only released the etch pattern for v1.0.
They did release the schematics so i figured out the pcb for making the v2.0 model.
Having a moment where I'm wondering how ethical this is.
Sometimes I'd make clones and feel bad putting a different name on the pedal. I don't know. Hmm.

So I made a Vong and a Pumpernickel, and currently I'm putting two Hard Ones in one box as a Super Duper clone. But I drunk drilled the Enclosure and it's too hideous to show.

I'm working on another Schalltechnik_04 kit (the GUMA Drive) and I'm getting to the part where I need to select the capacitors for the boost/cut switches. The problem is, I don't know what I'm looking for on how to decide!
I'm tempted that as a noob I should go for the larger-changing values (blue curve) so that I can hear the difference, but on the other hand, maybe the less extreme (red curve) would prove more useful/tame-able to someone like me?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I built this myself a while back. I went with the 220pf as standard. I wanted to hear the circuit the way it was intended. You can always go back and change it out. Thats the beauty of DIY and one of the reasons I got into pedal building. I may go dig this out and swap the cap out for something to do. By the way, it's a great sounding pedal. Thanks so much! At first glance I didn't notice that it was marked as "standard" and focused on the curves.
I can't wait to finish it up! I'm also building the Antique so that I can replace my Hot Wax. I'm putting them both in the same box. The switch in the center is to choose which effect is first in the chain.
Started off with waterslide but I couldn't get a good seal over it so I reached out to AmplifyFun to get one UV printed.

Is there a simple way to make drilling templates? Any online ressources you know about? Trying to do it in paint is a pita, not sure if i want to install gimp for this one-off-thingy. Thanks guys and gals and everyone between and beyond!

I like to use the free software from Front Panel Express (not affiliated) for 1:1 template printouts.
I dont seem to have any pedal examples at the moment, but heres a marked up layout for a project bass control panel
