Thanks, I´ll call it 'mustart' haha. And drilling is what I hate most.. it never comes out straight.. drillpress is on the list for next xmas .. :(

I don't use a drill press. I only use that for drilling self etched Pcbs.
I use and have had a lot of success with a Unibit. I have a metric one that goes from 3mm to 13mm and a standard that goes from 1/8" to 3/8".
I start with marking my holes with a sharp center punch to keep the bit from skating . After its punched I drill a hole with an 1/8" regular drill bit.
Once I have everything drilled with the 1/8" bit I proceed with the Unibit and drill whatever sizes I need.
Typical is 3mm for led, 7mm for pots, 10mm for jacks, 1/4" for toggles, 8mm to 11mm for power jacks depending on Jack and 12mm for footswitch.
The centet punch for me is the key to success. Hope this helps someone.

First I was like hell no, I got enough on my plate but I guess why not, I could actually do a batch with not too much added effort- but absolutely no drilling :p

I live in Germany, though, so shipping costs might be a bit higher. Best you tell me what enclosures and colors you want, I source them locally and ship to you once done. Since I have to spay outside, it´ll have to wait for spring though, it´s too cold currently.

PS for most single foot switch pedals you can buy drilled enclosures from Banzai Music or Muskding or others, I presume. Cheaper then destroying them :p

I applied the very same approach, but I substituted talent with beer... and I got a ******** pedal:

Thanks for the offer, the different continent thing kinda gets in the way though (plus I’ve already got and drilled them!)
I’m a graphic designer by trade so in theory I should be able to do something nice, I’m not going to try and compete with the way you do it though and thinking subliminated print on brushed aluminium top plate - kinda similar what origin effects do (though there’s are probably screenprinted)

has anyone integrated 2 preamps into same pedal with an A/B switch, effects loop, and DI? (it would have to be a bigger enclosure). It's been done before. Great example is the Trickfish Trilobite.

basically adding A/B switching to something like Invalid Link Removed (from @disssa )would be awesome. Just not sure where I'd need to do signal routing.

separate question: I know that with pots and guitar wiring, a pen soldering iron is preferred. What is the preferred setup for circuit boards? (I have both pen and gun style soldering irons)
