Any MINI owners here???

My first car way back in 1985 was an original Mini. It was a great little car and there was plenty of room in the back to, er, 'stretch out' with ones lady.;)

Mine used to fill to the top of the sill with water every time it rained - hilarious!

Well, with the snow storm yesterday (7" by our house), we just went and finished the paperwork (& $$$) last night - so, it's ours now, but we will wait 'til later in the week to pick it up at the dealership after the roads dry out.

It is a HOT car ... in performance and appearance:

MINI Cooper S Convertible, White Silver (like a metallic platinum), Black Top, Sidewalk Edition which includes the Sport Package & Luxury Package PLUS (Malt Brown Leather interior, upgraded Harmon Kardon Stereo, 17" Pirrelli all-weather run-flat tires, Sidewalk edition wheels, Front & Rear Fog Lights) Cold Weather Package (it IS Minnesota) plus some other stuff too. We're PUMPED! :hyper::hyper:

...and, I am confident that I won't have my "man card' revoked :p

I don't blame you one bit for being pumped!
That is a sweet ride!
RAWK ON, DUDE!

I never even considered a Mini before...but now I'm interested...With gas mileage that good, if the price is decent, that looks like something I'd like to get.

If you get an S or above and don't have restraint, it could be trouble.
:D

Two things for anyone doubtful of these cars:
1. rent "The Italian Job", both versions.
2. Find a new or used S at a dealer and take it for a spin. Find some curves and don't shift like a grandma. If that doesn't do it... oh well.
