I used to enjoy the Pickups & Electronics sub-forum, but getting snubbed or disregarded multiple times was enough for me.

I don't know if anyone was really trying to be rude. I just went through a period where it felt like being new here was a challenge. I'm glad I don't feel that way any more.Dude, if you have a problem with us, you can just leave for good ya know. No need to be calling us rude.

Oh YEAH! Well let me just tell you what the hell I think about all that!!!I actually left here for a month because I felt like my posts were ignored and there were frequent rude responses to the threads I started. Now I just post in a few friendly areas and expect my posts to be overlooked.
ETA: My experiences lately here have been much better, so either I've gotten used to it or TB has gotten used to me, or both. Whatever the case, I'm comfortable here now.
Being here is a challenge every day. But it beats real life.I don't know if anyone was really trying to be rude. I just went through a period where it felt like being new here was a challenge. I'm glad I don't feel that way any more.
ETA: Yes, I did know you were kidding. I'm actually not all that sensitive![]()

Not whatsoever. I've never been harmed by someone typing at meI want desperately at times to make some good spirited, and (I think) funny, jokes over in the effects forum. I dare not ever attempt that again. Just looking at the avatars of some of the posters hanging out there is enough to tame me.
I also shut off notifications to the classifieds and one particular artist forum here. The 2 unsubscriptions saves me a lot of time, money and aggravation. I'm not ascaired of those 2 places though. Just know it's better for me to keep out.
Effects I'm ascaired of.
How about you?
And yes, I know there's no such word but I like it.

Uh! Sorry. You were saying?I know! It's ascairt!!!ascaired?
Pssstt... This is real life. Everything else is an allusionBeing here is a challenge every day. But it beats real life.![]()
Oh yeah, Harmony Central was brutal, Joan of Arc wasn't burned as bad as some posters on there.I was an active member of the Harmony Central forums back in their epic flame wars days. I'm not askeerd of nuthin' no more.
TB's always been pretty tame in comparison to lots of other forums.
Thought it was a new American word I was gonna have to slip into my Aussie vocabulary lolllascaired?
I will say that I have met people after shows in very rural areas of the US that I absolutely wanted to "unsubscribe" from. Makes perusing this place feel rather tame.
