Anyone else addicted to cabinets?

I happened upon a Fearless 212/6 recently an just played my first gig with it. Despite being outdoors it was incredible, immediate thickness I could have only dreamed of. Had Aguilar SL410x and 2 SL212s previously and there is no comparison. Feels good to want for nothing now, though I would like to try those Genzler bass arrays to see how they compare.

What amp do you use with yours? I'm using a Genzler Magellan 800 which is also relatively new to me and I love it as well.

Cheers
Those are my latest quandaries, too. I’ve been thinking about the Magellan 800 head to pair with their slanted Series 2 10-2 over a slanted 15, but then I saw a guy on Facebook post how he really likes his Fearless F112 for most shows. He adds an F115 for larger shows. I’d be interested to know how your F112’s compare to Genzler’s arrays should you ever try it.

Spotted a Barefaced SC 12 in the local kijiji. I’ve heard nothing but great things about those cabs ( especially from European friends) but you never see them around here. And Herself has said no more cabs.
A friend wound up picking it up , so I did get to check it out.

They’re absolutely gorgeous!

Put it this way. I'm 63 and my gigging days are long gone BUT... if I had the space I'd have a mid 1970's V4B 2x15 stack taking pride of place in the corner of the living room just because they look so darn good and remind me of a time where to be a gigging musician was noisy, visually stunning, heavy and just totally perfect.

I like the gear for the art and skill that went into designing and building them as well as what they can do. Sometimes I just look at them ..lol
The usual response from my significant other( when I can't sneak them into the house) is " Don't you already have one of those!?" And then a disinterested and laconic face as I explain how great each item is. I actually made the fatal mistake of leaving the receipt for a new Fender Precision on the kitchen table once... even the cat felt sorry for me after that barrage.

I call it more of an obsession, my wife on the other hand well I don’t really know what she calls it.
I have 5 cabinets, six basses and two amps and have had many other cabinets over the past 40 years. I don’t even gig but I just like cabinets and seeing all the different qualities and tones.
I sell a couple to thin the herd and then bam, I end up with another. I guess I am addicted.

Several months back I bought a used, near mint condition Bergantino CN212 cabinet.
It has quickly become my main gigging cabinet.
I like it enough that the old gigging cabs are up for sale locally.
So yes, I'm cabinet addicted, as long as it says Bergantino on the name plate! :)

(I might add, I'm Bergantino addicted enough that if/when another Berg CN212 pops-up locally I'll be buying it also!)

For about 8 years I had 5 Bergs, 3 x AE112 and 2 x AE210.

Then they were replaced by Barefaced. I started with 1 and quickly ended up with 7. 2 x SC's, 2 x One10's, 2 x Two10's and 1 SM. That was silly so I sold a few and now only have 5, 2 x One10's, 1 SM, 1 SC and 1 BB2.

I’m a minimalist in all areas of my life.
Not by choice, it’s just the way I’ve always been.
My home is zen and I love that.

I have 1 cab (2x10).

I have somehow ended up with 3 basses which is surprisingly ok to me at this point.
Up until recently it really bugged me if I had more than one, and I would sell one whenever I got a new one.

But that’s just me.
If I buy a pair of shoes, I have to throw a pair out.
Same goes for all my ‘stuff’.
