I didn't get worked up btw...I just wrote a comment that I didn't understand how that pertained to Tyler Perry. Like someone else said, just because I don't have black hair doesn't mean I can't see that this looks funny. And do you know why? Because Chris Rock has talent. I understand that culture that is portrayed in Tyler Perry's stuff. I get it. But they don't show it as being humorous. They try to and they fail.

And the whole me hating on Elmo because he is black underneath? I am not a racist. At all. And the fact that you would assume that I am is insulting to me. Just because I dislike a black person's shows, and think I see a sign of racism, that automatically makes me racist? Yeah. Right.

I've seen racism in other places against black people. And I felt bad about it. I guess I hate white people too. But wait. I'm white.

This thread is basically about a culture that is depicted in film that's obviously not understood by the you.


Chris Rocks new movie(from the link I provided) Is also about a culture and a culture within a culture.


Maybe instead of you stating how much you hate Tyler Perry, you should have just asked some one to help you understand what you obviously do not understand.

That's all just part of the show persona. They make him keep his actual skills under wrap. Last week I saw him at a skate park in San Jose and he busted out an ollie impossible right into a 50-50 on a 10 foot rail. Which is like a 20 foot rail to you and me because his board is so small.

Side note: Am I the only one that never sees intermediate level skaters? It's always either "wow, that guy/girl is really good" or kids that can't land a single trick. C'mon kids do some practice at home before flashing your skills on the big stage aka the parking lot of the 7-11 down the street from me.
