Anyone else trying to quit smoking in 2013?

I'm just waiting for the outcry when they try this:

Holy cow Simo! Those images, especially the guy dead on the bed from lung cancer, are frightening!

He's affectionately known on Facebook as "Old Mate Brian" I'm led to believe.

Yeah, some of them are a little on the gruesome side. For the most part it seems to just desensitise people though I find. I know people who still smoke and collect all the different pictures.

Also, you can now buy cigarette pack stickers with customised prints to cover up the packaging. Apparently this is supposed to be a indication that plain packaging is working, but I'm not really convinced :hmm:

Trippy, you guys get 25 cigarettes per pack down under. We get 20.

Hah, weird.

Our cans are also 375ml, wheras a lot of other countries are closer to 330, not sure what they are in the States. Apparently it's because of the warmer climate.. not sure how that works with smokes though :D

There was fear mongering earlier about vaping. This might interest you. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
Funny how some would use Nicorette inhalers and patches that contain the same carcinogens as vape. Cheap help to quit is there for the taking.

TL;DR-" Only one sample contained the chemical used in anti-freeze. That was likely a result of a manufacturing defect, as it is an ingredient used in producing plastic. It has not been found in any tests since"

Every time someone starts talking about Vaping, that report comes up. There was NO antifreeze in ecigs!!
