Anyone ever run outa gas?

For me my amp IS my pedal board.

I’m sure this has been covered before but I find myself totally satisfied with my gear.

Over satisfied even.

4 wonderful amp heads. 5 great cabs.

And 3 of the best Basses I’ve ever owned.

I can’t find any instrument or amplification that interest me. But oh how I love to use what I got.

Anyone else finding they have arrived at gear heaven?

I’m good gear wise. Great amps, cabs, a couple of combos, and two awesome basses. I have an IPad Pro 12” for gigs that require sheet music.

All depends on what I come across tomorrow and at what price.

To be honest there’s always some new toy I want. Good thing is these days it’s mainly more affordable things like pedals. The Dingwall was a good purchase for me. Been my main bass for almost 3 years. By fenders are plenty good enough as backup basses. The Mesa subway d-800 is everything I want out of a head. Sounds good, it’s easy to use, and super portable. Long term I d like to swap my ampeg cabs out for something a little more portable. But no clue as for what. Maybe a Mesa 212 or 215. Maybe a 210x2 vertical stack. Might for a PJB cab

I though I was done for a while... really. Then this Jazz pops up on eBay for a really good price. I didn't need it, I had acquired some really nice basses over that last few months... and I'm not really a Jazz guy, but damn....
So maybe now I'm done. God I hope...

New pickups, a few mods, and another one in natural with block neck :)

No, not really. Just under my control.

My last acquisition was the completion of a build in November 2018. Have not purchased since. I am wanting to get back into the six-string game, however... maybe after gigs come back. Can't justify it right now.

I've been purging the herd considerably this year, and plan to sell another three pretty soon. But I still keep a lookout towards picking up a couple of obscure 70s basses ( now ludicrously overpriced, just cause they're old) for purely sentimental reasons. Oh, and then there's that Ritter that I have had my eye on lately... :woot:

Everytime I say I'm done, I'm not. And I'm really happy with my last two acquisitions. An American Performer Precision that I bought on Oct 8th, and a Player Series Precision I got in a trade today. So I'm not going to say I'm done cause the minute I do... And I'm really happy right now, definitely don't need anymore basses.

I think it's great you are satisfied with you gear.

Now that the gear thing is done, you can focus on making music. Enjoying every minute knowing that there isn't anything better for you, than what you already have.

Well done, I hope that you inspire others to find contentment in what they have.

I'm constantly thinking up things I "need"
It kind of slips up on me, I think I'm good, don't need anything new, then something will start gnawing at me.

A lack of funds helps keep me in check but eventually I get a little ahead and all of a sudden, there's what I didn't know I needed at just the right price, equal to the aforementioned "little ahead"...funny how that works...
