Anyone here wear the same clothes every time they play?

This is pretty much my standard look. Real creative, eh? My criteria: comfortable, stain resistant and hides the belly!

Blundstones, Levis and some sort of pearl snap - plaid or solid. Sometimes just a black v neck T if it's hot - just like Joe Nerve! My jeans seems to have gotten darker over the years - haven't gone full black denim, though.

Yeah, I've got a couple of Scullys. One kind of gaudy, the other really cool subdued black on black embroidery.
is the fit pretty accurate? I'm pretty tall, so I'm pretty conservative about ordering clothes, and I've never seen one on a rack around here. (PS- I love their kind of gaudy!)

... usually some slight variation of this ... I carry a couple shirts in the garment bag for under the vest, and a black sports coat to replace the vest if occassion warrants ... always jeans, and suede boots that match my straps ...

.. I agree that it is fairly important to have some consistency, and at least sort of look like the pics and shots in your promotional material when on stage...

You are laundering, right?

Laundry is the coward's way out. If you have the intestinal fortitude to refrain from cleaning your clothes, the germs will eventually
slide off your stage threads on a bed of oil, or, depending on how filthy you are, under power of their own undulation.

A corollary is Quentin Crisp's observation on house cleaning: "There is no need to do any housework at all. After the first four years,
the dirt doesn't get any worse."
