Are any of you interested in a eq tutorial ?

I'm interested! That'd be awesome, I'm always fiddling around on stage with my amp's knobs (it has become a nervous twitch, sort of:) ). a little tutorial will help/cure me of that,so I'll know what I'm doing back there!

i'd be interested in getting my bass tone/eq to sound similar thru the FOH ..!!??!!

And ... if I was the OP posting the original question ,... i'd already have said tutorial saved and ready to post ..!??!

i don't want to look thru several pages looking for that info .. ! BUT , i love new info on making stuff sound better .. !!!!

Assuming the OP is being genuine and really does have this "method", OBVIOUSLY everyone would want to know what it is. That's what this whole site is about. You have to wait until you see if there is enough interest before you START to "distill and simplify" your (already) simple method? Then you spend the next morning on the website....not actually posting any information, but telling people...you don't have time right now...?

I don't think you have any such method or information, beyond what is commonly known. I'm not calling you a troll, I'm not calling you names, I'm saying I don't believe you have this information you claim to have.

Prove me wrong, I will gladly come here and apologize to you and everyone for have doubted you.

Do it, call me on my claim like I am calling you on yours. This whole thing only has a couple ways it could end. I predict the "method" (as alleged) will never appear.

Think of how much enjoyment you will receive when you prove us all wrong....surely that's worth setting some time aside for....maybe miss an hour of sleep? Seems a small price to pay for such an enjoyable sensation.

I mean, the OP came in here like the Shamwow guy thinking he was going to revolutionize EQ (NOT tone). What should he have expected? If he truly just wanted to help people and had some information that could do that, he would have just shared it without the fanfare (you know, kinda like I did a few pages ago). "Put up or shut up" is an absolutely reasonable and certainly predictable response to such posturing. And he's replied a few more times (meaning he's spent time reading all of this), but still hasn't so much as summarized the nature of his amazing breakthrough in EQ (NOT tone) science and technology.

Anyway, I'll answer the OP directly now. If you have to ask whether the information would be interesting, then it isn't. Problem solved. Let's all go have a beer.

I don't mind. I find it funny as hell until it gets personal. The longer i let it go, the more the trolls lose interest. They will get bored and move on and the people this will truly help will be able to have better interactions without all the BS.

This gives no meaning. Timbre is the result of the frequencies that comes out of a speaker system. EQ is adjusting those frequencies (depending on the instrument, the amp, the DI, the room, the mix etc.). There is no difference. Sound /is/ frequencies. (Or more precise: sound is soundwaves, measured in frequencies. That's what gives the tone or timbre or whatever you like to call it).
