Ok, let's try one more time, since you obviously have the time to reply all the time: Please explain the difference between changing the "tone" and "EQ-ing", in this context. You've been asked like 20 times, and you don't reply.

I have a very simple method for taking any system to its maximum clarity and punch that will give close to pro results. No special equipment needed. Just your bass, amp and eq.
If there is interest I will write up a tutorial or shoot a video.
What I'm offering is similar results as a good sound guy would give you but a method that can be applied at home in just 5 minutes.

I may be out of the mainstream TB sentiment with this comment, but I seriously doubt you have any new info about EQ that hasn't already been discussed on TB in at least two dozen different threads. My guess is you will post something like "turn or slide all EQ controls to their maximum setting and you will get maximum clarity and punch", which isn't true, but I'm guessing that or something similar is all you have, if anything.

Your instruments voice, your amps voice, effects. These things all make up tone.
What I am trying to provide is a simple way to get your tone, including eq, no matter where you are with easily repeatable results while doing things to insure you dont lose impact and clarity.
All this will be super clear later.

It's not secret. Theres no magic to this crap. The info is out there and as bass players it's almost never applied. I've never seen someone use my approach which is really fricken simple in action but a pain in the ass to explain.

So, you use EQ to adjust tone. Which means, adjusring tone and using EQ is the same thing. It's not two different things.

OK, you obviously have Internet access. If you're anywhere nearly as tech savvy as you present yourself, you have a smart phone with video capability. Your method takes "5 minutes" (your words).

Do it. Video yourself doing it with your smartphone and post it. You're online, you've been posting all day so you have the time and the means.
