Are any of you interested in a eq tutorial ?

I have a very simple method for taking any system to its maximum clarity and punch that will give close to pro results. No special equipment needed. Just your bass, amp and eq.
If there is interest I will write up a tutorial or shoot a video.
What I'm offering is similar results as a good sound guy would give you but a method that can be applied at home in just 5 minutes.
"If you're a Mr. Common Sense, you won't believe me when I tell you that I've got an envelope that'll clean your car while you're driving it home to work. Well, George, believe me this time, because this one isn't like the Austrian self-sharpening razors. No, friends, no overheating like the tropical fishes. No zizzing and dripping like with the dik..."

I have been playing bass and designing pro audio gear for 4 decades. I understand the Physics behind most of what’s going on in a bass guitar. I’ve been doing pro audio for close to 50 years.

Still, I’m open to new approaches to things. And I freely admit I don’t understand what people are talking about when they say “punch”. I’ve never used that term.

Explain away. I might learn something.

I believe Punch is an analogy to speaker excursion.

Yes please.

Wells that was five pages of "yes" I won't get back.

Here is hoping this won't fizzle out into a click bait thread, as it mostly has already.

Srs. Why the OP would bother asking instead of just posting is ponderous unless this is some sort of troll/joke.

Sorry. Cant be tonight. No time between real job and mixing session later.

What's your best guess on when you'll be able to share your tips? You certainly tickled us w a feather for no reason.

At this point, it will need to be something bordering on magic, considering how high the expectations have become......

Lol...I can just see this ending with "set everything flat, listen to what it sounds like and adjust to taste.

I asked because I genuinely thought this post would go unnoticed like 99 percent of my other post and didnt want to waste the time if no one was going to bother with it.

If I may suggest. Start another thread and add the link to the new thread in your first post of this thread . I'd like to see what you have to offer in the EQ realm

Couldn't you have just posted your info right now, instead of this response? You're obviously online and had time enough to post this...?

It would have taken only slightly more time to have posted your method/whateveritis in the first place, then it's out there and people can read it or ignore it.

Not calling you a troll, but I am suggesting....don't tell us what you're going to do, do it.
