Aria & Aria Pro II Club

I just bought an Aria Pro II RSB Deluxe - 5 for 15,000 yen yesterday. It's red. The serial number on the back is 4031153. It's got dual HB's on it, but they only have one original hex screw between the two. Weird bridge system. An active/passive selector for both HB's. Two stacked knobs. Not sure what they do, as I have no amp at my home right now so I haven't been able to play around with it. It's also got a three way toggle for neck/neck&bridge/bridge pup selection. 24 frets. Straight neck with the two string things. I can't remember what they're called but they keep the high strings tight on straight head stocks. 4 tuners on top, 1 on bottom, really dingy aria pro II models. Lots of chipped paint. Truss rod is accessed by taking the neck completely off only and currently has no cover at all.

I'll take photos sometime this week. I need to give this poor baby some TLC for sure. You'll see when I post the photo's, but I have no idea how old this thing is. I just knew it was a steal at 15,000 yen since the exchange rate is currently 123yen to the dollar.

PS: I want my membership # when I post my pics. :P Also, the HB's are the original ones. Everything is original minus the pup screws.

:smug: Gentlemen, go book those plane tickets!!!

Here's a standard SB(1000?), twin pickup, black ash one, which sold within the last hour .... for (bizzarely  ) THE EXACT SAME PRICE (£335).

I was too busy elsewhere and missed the end of that auction :scowl: .

That looks to be an SB-R80 in nice shape. I still think the SB-1000's bring more but not sure. You don't see them very often is good shape.

Hey! Quick question for everyone.. My first bass was a Aria Pro II and so I had to search for a new one. I found one at my local pawn so I bought it. It's an Aria Pro II CSB-450 Black 'n' Gold. I've found a lot of info on the CSB-450, but not much on the Black 'n' Gold series. Does anyone have any info on this bass? It sounds great by the way. I haven't set it down since I brought her home. Thanks!
