Those Aria's are way overpriced. You can buy a new SB1000 for less than that.

I got my SB1000JT from Ishibashi for $975US and $113US for shipping. I compared it to my older SB's and build quality/soundwise it is identical. The older SB1000 active circuits had a bad habit of frying. they seem to have that problem worked out in the reissues

Thanks, After seeing the videos and reading this thread for the umpteth time I know remember how great my SB basses were. Now I am gonna have to save up money to get one!
